Day 1467: Grilled Cheese

A shorter post today, but one of my favorite social media events is finally back! 

A couple of years ago, Jennifer Morrison started a social media "event" called 101 Smiles, where she, along with her fans, would post a picture a day of something that made them smile for 101 days. Being the huge Once Upon A Time fan I was (and still am), I of course jumped on the train, and participated in both the inaugural 101 Smiles and the sequel in late 2015. When the smiles didn't return for the fall of 2016, I had to admit that I was disappointed, so when I logged on Twitter today and found that the campaign was beginning again, I couldn't have been more excited! 

The idea is simple. Every day you post a picture on Twitter of something that made you smile that day and tag it with #101Smiles. That's it. It's simple, and after two years of participating, I know for a fact that posting just one thing that made you smile each day greatly increases your overall positivity, and that means it's a great way to start out 2017! 

For today's smile, I happened to go for lunch at Culver's with one of my best friends, and she suggested that we have Grilled Cheese and Onion Rings, which just happens to be Emma Swan's favorite meal on Once Upon A Time. I agreed and we chatted over our food, taking pictures to tag on Twitter for our first smile! Jennifer Morrison herself even favorited Frank's picture on Twitter! As for my picture, I think you'll all recognize the bit of Disney I threw in just to create an extra smile!

Day 1092: 101 Smiles, The Sequel

I was started to get worried that there wouldn't be a 101 Smiles 2016, but Jennifer Morrison has never let us down before, and she certainly hasn't now either! I was absolutely thrilled to find out that she was running a second year of the challenge, which I did last year as well and really enjoyed. In fact, I wrote a whole blog post about it HERE!

Last year, I really made an effort to allow those smiles to run my life. It made me a more positive person overall, and I was in a really good place. After all, just look at all the things I had to smile about last year:

This year, however, was a little bit harder. For some reason, life overall was rough this fall, and while it was sometimes a bit harder to smile, that doesn't mean I didn't smile, and I'm so thankful for all the wonderful people in my life who got a smile on my face even on the most difficult of days. And you know what, I've got another 101 Smiles to show for it:

Day 985: 202 Smiles

It wasn't long ago that I was wondering if Jennifer Morrsion would do another year of 101 Smiles on social media. As part of a goal to increase positivity on the internet and in life in general, last year she began the #101Smiles challenge, in which you were to post a picture a day of something that made you smile. A lot of us joined in, and I talked a year ago about how the experience really impacted how I see positivity in my every day life. You can see a recap of 101 Smiles 2014 HERE.

I've thought a lot about 101 Smiles since it ended last December, so you can imagine how excited I was when Jennifer Morrison announced that we were about to start another round this fall. It started a bit later than the last one, about two weeks later, but that should put us really close to Christmas and the New Year by the time we finish! In general though, I'm really excited to see what kinds of things will make me smile this time around. Here's the collage of all of last year's pictures, just to give you an idea of what brought a grin to my face in 2014:

Day 900: Meet the Emotions

Well, amazingly, for the second time this year, I was able to catch a showing of a new Disney film on opening day, and this time I had the chance to see it in the theater at the Mall of America! It's funny because I'm fairly certain that in all of 2014 I saw about one movie in theaters, if that, and in the past few months I've seen four, one of which I saw twice. But we're here to talk about the emotions inside our head, specifically those featured in Disney & Pixar's new animated feature film, Inside Out.

A number of years ago, when they first introduced the concept for this film, my reaction was pretty much the same way it is for any new animated film coming out of Disney or Pixar: Skeptical. I remember the feeling with Tangled and Frzoen and Wreck-It Ralph and even as far back as Cars. After all, a movie about emotions? How in the world?

But like always, I put my trust in Pixar and they brought everything they had to this film, and honestly, without giving any spoilers, I think that this is one of the finest Pixar films to date. It has the creativity of Toy Story and Cars mixed with the pure emotion we get in films such as Up, all while mixing in the humor we've seen in films such as Monsters Inc. I absolutely adore this movie and everything about it, and here's why, for me at least, I think it meant more than ever.

Over the past two years, or at least since making my way to college, I've really been forced to examine how I look at life. I've had a lot of hate thrown my way, and for a long time the best way to respond to it, or so I thought, was with anger and sadness and fear. But then a little show called Once Upon A Time became more important than ever and brought me the positivity of Jennifer Morrison, who's on my list of role models for that exact reason: positivity. There's so much hate in our world, but I've decided to make attempts to embrace the joy instead, and you know what? It works. Once I decided to stop being angry and sad and terrified, my life got better, and it got brighter. I think a year or two ago I would have watched this film from a completely different perspective, but now, I see so much of myself in Joy, and it's extremely comforting to know that maybe I have a little Joy of my own up in my head. That was an extremely weird sentence out of context...

Of course, as the movie shows, it's totally ok to associate with another of the emotions too. We all need anger and sadness and fear and disgust to live a happy and fulfilling life. It's all a part of the game. And that was comforting too, and I think that is what's going to hit home with so many viewers out there. It's totally normal to be sad or angry, and sometimes we need to embrace those emotions the same way I strive everyday to embrace joy.

Regardless, you can bet that I'll be seeing Inside Out again, probably at least once while it's still playing in theaters, and then many many times after I have my own copy on BluRay. If you have yet to see Inside Out, I highly reccomend seeing it, as it's a film absolutely everyone can relate to.

After all, we all have emotions inside our heads...we just have to meet them.

Day 732: The Ups and Downs

I have returned!

Yes, I realize that I'm currently writing this on January 11 and haven't blogged for the last ten days, but this was a scheduled leave, as my family, along with two of my best friends, head to Walt Disney World for another trip, and what a great way to start 2015!

And so, just as I did with my trip last June, I didn't blog during the trip and instead decided to choose on big topic for each day I was gone, writing them all after I returned (which obviously I have). In other words, for the next few days I've got a variety of things to talk about, all having to do with the trip I just returned from!

Today's topic? Planes.

It actually surprises me a little bit that I've never actually discussed this one, considering the fact that I've been on more airplanes than I can even count at this point (with 26 trips it gets a bit confusing). My family has traveled a lot throughout my life, sometimes by car and sometimes by plane, but for my two friends, the plane ride was a whole new adventure.

While there were things better and things worse throughout both flights, I think overall they're alright with planes, although really I can't say much about how they feel since I, obviously, am not them. On my own part, however, I really don't like flying. It's not as much about being afraid of flying, as I know I'm safe and have no fear of dying in a firey crash (ask me again after I watch LOST), but more because I just hate waiting to get on.

I'm a relatively patient person, except for when it comes to Disney Trips and Once Upon A Time. I generally am not a huge fan of waiting in lines at Disney, and no one likes waiting for the hiatus to end, but aside from that I am fairly patient, or at least I'd like to think. But waiting to get on an airplane? There's nothing I hate more than that.

I had a bad experience many years ago that really made me hate planes, and along with my regular motion sickness problems, sitting on a plane for two hours each way just isn't really my cup of tea. Oh how I don't look forward to the four hour plane ride that will take place when I head to California this summer.

Thankfully, over time I've come to be alright with flying in general. I have a system down, and I mastered security a long time ago, so I'm to the point now where I could probably do most of it in my sleep (and I do sleep...on the plane). I have to be honest though, lately, one of my motivators for being ok with flying is Jennifer Morrison, who I believe faced a total of around 70 flights during the filming of Season 3 of Once Upon A Time, and I know from a few of her tweets that she's not a real fan of flying either. So I figure that if she can make it through that many flights in such a short period of time, I can handle two within a week and a half.

Tuesday, July 15, 2014: Day 561: Basically Famous

Does it really surprise you that my favorite post from July comes from one of the best birthday's I've ever had, all of which is due to one particular Irish man who happens to play my favorite character on my favorite television show? Yeah, it shouldn't surprise you in the least. My tweet from Colin O'Donoghue is framed, has been shared multiple times over various social media and has been talked about many, many times since July here on Everyday Disney. I'm still reminded of it from time to time (when I'm not already smiling at it sitting on my shelf at college), as there are STILL people favoriting the tweet. Creepers.

Saturday, August 30, 2014: Day 607: The Facebook Tradition

Maybe it's because I'm on the brink of another trip, and that means that after six months my Facebook will once again change, or maybe it's because it's just one of those weird traditions I have that I absolutely love, but the blog post in August on the Facebook Tradition is definitely one of my favorites, more because of the topic than the post itself. It's also one of the topics that I made up in October or something because I was so far behind and the idea for the post just suddenly hit me. 

Now I'm just thinking about what my new cover photo and profile picture will be. 

Wednesday, September 24, 2014: Day 632: Seagulls

Just as it's not everyday that Colin O'Donoghue tweets you Happy Birthday, it's not everyday you make Jennifer Morrison crave a churro. September was an especially good month for me in the world of Tweet Collecting, with one retweet (and instagram repost!) from Jennifer Morrison and two favorites from her during #101Smiles. I can't even express how much happiness that brought me, and even now it helps get me through the day...when I'm not craving churros.

Here we have yet another Once Upon A Time themed posted, and you know, I'm sort of sensing a theme here. Anyway, this one happened to be a huge project for me one evening, clocking in at over two hours of work. So maybe it wasn't the best idea to do the entire Once Upon A Time 30-Day Challenge in one blog post, but I have to say, it's pretty impressive looking back now. Plus, it was Emma Swan's birthday! I felt like I needed to celebrate! 

Monday, November 10, 2014: Day 679: Colors of Disney

This is one of the more fun blog posts I've done this year, if you ask me, and I'm definitely planning on doing a new edition of these color palettes once I return in January with new Instagram pictures. Plus, it'll fit right in with the theme for 2015 (still secret for everyone except a few inside people!). I love Instagram pictures, and I love color, and gosh, I just can't even express how much fun I had with this!

Throughout my college career so far, I've been blessed to have extremely wonderful roommates, and I can't wait to see what the next semester and upcoming years have. Of course, I'm also a huge fan of our Door of Encouragement, filled with inspiration and color to inspire us when we need it most. Plus, I'm pretty excited about the new additions that will be coming in the second half of the year, and I bet I'll have to share a new picture of the door when it's full at the end of the year!

And now it's time for the first of two bonus posts! Melvin has been a great addition to our college lives, and you know what? Mevlin's going on a really big adventure this January, since he's home with me for J-Term. Plus, you have to admit that his little costumes have been pretty adorable. Although I'm a huge fan of all of them, I do think this Captain Hook one was my favorite, more because of the boat in the back and that hat than the fact that he was Captain Hook. Just wait until this next semester - Melvin's got plenty of new costumes to come!

And for a second bonus post, I had to include this fun post I did in combination with my Twitter back in November. I really don't watch my vlogs often once they're edited and posted to YouTube, but I definitely think this will be happening again in the future. After all, watching all my vlogs is basically like watching a really long, really weird movie, so why not!?! 

So there you have it...the second half of 2014. It's honestly been a really great year, but guess what? I get to save all that mushy stuff for the last post of the year. Day 702: 101 Smiles

Here we have another post that definitely involves Jennifer Morrison. December 3rd marked the end of something JMo started in an attempt to bring more positivty to Twitter, called #101Smiles. The concept was simple, is simple, you post a picture a day, for 100 days, of something that made you smile. It can be anything, and some pages, such as The Ugly Ducklings page, gave daily challenges of something that made you smile within a certain category.

It just so happens that #101Smiles started on the very first day of classes here at SNC, meaning that the challenge took place over the majority of the fall semester of my sophomore year of college, and it's taught me a lot of lessons. As I said on Twitter, #101Smiles is something I didn't even know I needed. It's one of the main reasons I came out of the last two years with an extremely positive attitude, and it's certainly brought me a lot of smiles over the past 100 days. So let's take a look back. Here's the collage I put on Day 101, made up of most of the pictures I shared over the 101 days:

There were a lot of great moments stuck in there, such as the time that I made Jennifer Morrison crave churros (see THIS POST for more on that story), or that time she liked our dorm room (HERE!). There's the CaptainSwan tea, and Baby Sven (Also liked by JMo!), Halloween with my darling roommates, movie times, cupcakes, Starbucks, weird adventures, tweets, Disneybounds, Fastpass reservations and plenty, and I mean plenty, of smiles. 

I did this challenge on a whim. After all, why wouldn't I? Jennifer Morrison is one of my role models and certainly is my favorite actress, so when I saw the opportunity to join in, I jumped on the band wagon faster than you can type a tweet. What I didn't expect was for it to lift my mood so much. Just sitting down at the end of the night and thinking "What made me smile today?" lifted my mood and definitely made me a happier person. 

So here's a HUGE thank you to Jennifer Morrison for starting this, and a special shoutout to the #UglyDucklings that made me and so many others feel loved. I'm definitely sad to the see the end of #101Smiles, but I can't wait for the next one, #101Smiles2015. 

If you didn't participate in the challenge, that's alright! It's never too late to start, and just because I'm finished and so is Jen, it doesn't mean that you can't join in on the fun. There's still tons of people facing the challenge of a picture a day of a smile, and I highly recommend that you do the challenge, no matter where you are. Just because it's past Day 101 doesn't mean we have to stop smiling!

Day 699: The Grass Is Greener...

This is one of those blog posts where the title is really longer than I can fit in the actual title line, so here's the full one:

The Grass Is Greener...On The Marching Field

Tumblr is one of those great places where you can find lots of things. It's a place filled with humor and angst and the people that are parts of fandoms that casually tend to remind you that, of course, your favorite ship actually has this super tragic backstory that they decide to tell you through GIFs and then you just end up crying. (Not that this happens to me...often). 

But Tumblr's also a really inspiring place, and by far one of the most inspiring stories didn't originate on Tumblr at all, but rather with Jennifer Morrison. I've talked about this wonderful role model more than a few times on my blog, but this is one of those times where I just had to share. I have this really weird list of reasons as to why JMo and I are alike, and it's getting weirdly long, but this article she wrote, "The Legacy of Positivity" is something that just got me. 

You can read the full article HERE, and I really do suggest you read it before the rest of this post. If you don't want to read the whole thing, the important parts I'm hitting will be summarized in my spiel about it and so on and so forth.

Jennifer's parents, as I already knew before this article, are music teachers, meaning that music has had an important influence on her life, just as it has mine. The article goes one to talk about the things that she learned from her parents. I, of course, am not an alum of the Prospect Marching Knights, and I've never met the Morrisons, but I do know exactly what she's talking about, and I agree with every single word. 

We live in world so filled with negativity that I'm all for every chance we have to make things more positive. It's one the biggest reasons I'd love to just sit down and have coffee with Jennifer Morrison. Not to talk about Once Upon A Time or anything else, but simply talk about how she keeps things positive. As my own social media presence increases, it has occurred to me time and time again that I have to do the same thing she does, and keep things positive. Arguments don't help anyone, and negativity only works against us. But as JMo points out, it's all about your mindset. 

Over the past few days I've actually been debating this whole thing. The idea of happiness and positivity. For the last several nights, just as I'm about to go to bed, I find that I can't. Not because I'm not tired, and not because I don't have to go to bed yet or because I'm in the middle of a super angsty episode on Gilmore Girls, but rather because I'm happy. I'm excited about life. Sometimes it's excitement about things that will happen in the new future, such as my trip to Disney World that's coming up faster than any of us could possibly imagine. Once and a while I'll think about my Disneyland trip in August, and the fact that on that trip I'll have the incredible chance to meet some of the friends I've made through Disney and Once Upon A Time. And then there are the moments when I'm excited about things that are so far in the future I don't even know when they'll happen, like the simple fact that someday, somehow, I'll meet Colin O'Donoghue and yes, Jennifer Morrison. These are the things that make me excited, and you know what? I can't remember a time in the last two years when I've been so completely, truly happy. 

These past two years have been a trial for me. Tests have come in every shape and size and around every single bend, but somehow I've made it through all of it, and if there's one thing I would remind my past self if I had to do it all over again, it would be to stay positive. It's a mindset, and now that I'm in that mindset, I no longer am angry constantly, I'm not disappointed in the work I've done or the moments I've missed out on. I've grown, and my positivity has grown with it. 

After all, as Jennifer Morrison mentioned: "...'The grass isn't greener on the other side. The grass is greener where you water it.' And it's also green where you march, my mom and dad would say. So put one foot in front of the other, even if they're baby steps and let's all walk towards the light, lean into it, and grow green together."

Day 661: A Blue Star Candle

Today is a very important day in the Once Upon A Time fandom! It's Emma Swan's birthday, also known as the anniversary that our favorite television show about Fairy Tales premiered on ABC. That's right, three years ago today I was sitting in my bedroom watching Once Upon A Time. It was the first time I watched Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin and Lana Parilla and Jennifer Morrison on my television screen, at least that I knew of. So I needed a way to celebrate. It seemed like a logical post, and while I still haven't done my Favorite Hook Moments post, I'll soon be doing that (it pairs up with something early next week), I decided that I couldn't just do Hook anyways. Nope, I needed something to celebrate ALL of Once Upon A Time. And then I realized. As much as I've talked about OUAT, with little bits and pieces here and there, I haven't actually talked about my absolute favorite moments, and if there's one way to accomplish something like that, it's a 30-Day Challenge.

Now, I'm actually in the midst of three other challenges between Instagram and Twitter, so adding on another one seems like a lot of work to be completely honest. Instead, I'll just include my answers here in one giant blog post...so get ready, and I'll try to keep things short (no promises though). I have a half hour until How To Get Away With Murder to completely focus on this, so let's see if I can't get this done!

1 - Your Favorite Male Character?

Alright, in all seriousness here, I'll actually answer the questions now instead of randomly putting GIFs or Memes. Hook and Emma...does that surprise you? (And if you didn't catch that reference go rewatch Season 3).

As for my least favorite male character, it's a difficult question because really, we love to hate these characters. Overall though I'm probably going to have to say Rumpelstiltskin. Now don't get me wrong, I love Robert Carlyle and I adore the storyline they've made for Rumple, but there's just not a lot of appeal in the character for me. I'm definitely (and obviously) on the Hook side so...yeah.

4 - Your Least Favorite Female Character? 

Again, a really hard question. I think this one's even harder than the last one because I literally can't think of any Female Character I really don't like. Ummm...probably someone completely insignificant, like Bo Peep or something. I mean, I could say Zelena cause she screwed up my ship kinda (but then again they did go on that amazing adventure), or Cora because she's so evil, but I adore both of those characters. So yeah, Bo Peep it is I guess.

5 - Your Favorite Villain? 

I really have the urge to put the "Seriously" GIF here again. But let's take Hook out of the equation. As one of my friends mentioned earlier, "Is he really still a villain?" It's a good question considering right now he has some issues at hand (pun intended), but I truly believe he'll work them out. Regardless, let's pick another villain.

I think aside from Hook I definitely have to go with Regina, although I don't see her as super evil anymore either. But there's just something about Lana and the sass and how much Regina loves Henry and so on and so forth that makes her one of my favorites. Not to mention how absolutely brilliant her costumes are.

6 - Your Favorite Scene? 

Oh goodness. There's so many scenes to choose from. I mean, there's the Hook and Emma moment in 3x05, and the Hook and Emma moment in basically every episode after that and the Hook and Emma moment here and the Hook and Emma moment there.

BUT, I think I'm going to have to go with a classic moment, as in the first time Emma and Henry really, truly connected. The pilot is one of my favorite episodes because it's just so brilliantly done, and it reminds us all just how far the show has come. I wish I had time to watch it tonight (and maybe I will). Either way, Jennifer and Jared were wonderful in that scene, with such powerful emotions that sucked us all into this fandom. Aren't we glad that happened?

7 - Your Favorite Ship/s?

I'll give you one hint...nope, you don't even need one. If you haven't figured out by now that I ship CaptainSwan you probably need to invest in some help. Or maybe I'm the one that should invest in some help. Regardless, they're just the best and I loved their date, even if it was ruined by a cursed hand and I loved the moment in the picture above and basically I love every bit of them in Season 4, although I've loved them for much longer and yep. CaptainSwan. 

I also totally ship OutlawQueen and Rumbelle and, of course, Snowing. Can't miss out on them. 

8 - Your Favorite Friendship?

It's probably a tie between CaptainCharming (Hook & Charming) and FrozenSwan (Elsa & Emma). I mean, on the CC front it's sort of awkward because, well, the pirate is dating his mate's daughter, but thing's will smooth over in the end I do believe. As for FS, I'm just so happy that Emma finally has a friend in Storybrooke, I mean, apart from Hook. It's great for her to have someone who understands what she's going through with her magic, and I'm super excited to see more of that relationship as the season moves forward.

Also, in case you were wondering, this is how far I got before How To Get Away With Murder started...

9 - Saddest Moment? 

This one, surprisingly enough, is pretty easy to figure out. It's in 3x11: Going Home, when Emma and Henry are driving away from the town and the smoke overtakes the town. That definitely stands out to me as the saddest moment, since it was just really emotional for me. I mean, to have everything from the last two years just...gone, that was crazy. To see Snow and Charming have to send their daughter away a second time, just like they did in the pilot? That was crazy.

Other scenes that come to mind are everything to do with the death of Neal. That's the only time I've actually cried watching the show. I didn't want Neal to die, and it was painful to watch my favorite characters deal with the loss of someone they loved.

10 - Funniest Moment? 

These are hard questions! There are so many great hilarious moments, especially when it comes to Hook. His one liners are priceless. Right now the big one is probably this though:

11 - Your Favorite Badass Scene? 

Oh gosh. I have no clue. Well, actually I love whenever Hook swordfights, especially his fight with Blackbeard in 3x17: The Jolly Roger. Otherwise, the one scene that really stands out to me is near the end of Season Two, when Snow saves Regina (hidden by magic) from her own guards. It's just awesome.

12 - Your Favorite Kiss? 

I had to debate this one for some time because since Season 4 began, Hook and Emma have been having a pretty good run on this front. There's what, 4 episodes and 3 of them have them kissing? Yeah, it's a good time to be a CaptainSwan shipper, although I have the distinct fear that such nice period will be ending soon. Regardless, I have to actually say the one at the end of Season 3. I think it paired so nicely with the wedding and everything else that was going on and it was just such an important step for them. Plus I freaked out like no other.

13 - Do you want the Evil Queen to get her happy ending? Why/Why Not?

Oh for sure. I think happy endings, or at least the hope of such things, are an extremely key element of fairy tales overall. I'd be heartbroken to see the series end without a happy ending for Regina, especially when she's absolutely so close to one and despite the fact that the odds are against her, she's working with Henry to save the woman who's legitimately stopping her from reaching her goal. Everything changed for me during 3x09: Save Henry, and after the conversation as she made the potion for her to forget, I've been on team Regina & Happy Ending. She deserves one, regardless of what she's done.

14 - Your Favorite OMG moment? (Something you didn't expect)

I had to stop to discuss this one with my roommate since I really couldn't figure out what my answer would be. I see a lot of spoilers, so a lot of stuff is sort of "ruined" for me, although that's sometimes good.Either way, there was a time when I didn't know everything though, and I think the most shocking moment for me was when we found out that Pan was after Henry at the very end of Season 2. That was just ridiculous, and then we had to wait all summer to find out what happened next. Crazy.

15 - Which Side are you on? Good or Evil? 

This is another hard question considering the fact that my favorite characters are technically on the opposite sides of this, but probably Good. I definitely relate more to that side of things, although like Emma I sometimes find it irritating how her parents are so optimistic. Still though, no doubt about it that I'd fight for the good and the right thing. Although what's that Hook always says? Could it be...Good Form?

But for real...the Nevengers.

16 - Your Favorite OUAT Outfit?

Oh his one I have down. It's easy! I absolutely adore the ball outfits Hook and Emma had in the Season 3 finale. Emma's Dress? I want it so much. So bloody much. And Hook's jacket. Just yes.

17 - Your Favorite Episode of Season 1? 

This is actually a three way tie, I think. There might be a fourth episode stuck in there too, but off the top of my head I have to say 1x01: Pilot, 1x07: The Heart is a Lonely Hunter and 1x10: 7:15 A.M. The fourth would be 1x09: True North. Season 1 is just so great and there's so many wonderful episodes that it's hard to pick just one. Actually I'm pretty sure I have more favorite episodes in Season One than any other season. I have favorite moments in every episode of course, but some episodes you just want to watch over and over again, and that's certainly a feeling I get with much of Season 1, despite the lack of my favorite character.

18 - Your Favorite Actor? 

Again...the urge to use the "seriously?" GIF is high, although I felt this meme was appropriate. But for real...it's this guy. It's not surprising, not one bit. Colin's great, and I know that (he probably knows that, but from what I can gather he's pretty humble about all of it. I mean...his television interviews are like the most adorable thing ever because sometimes he's shy and is genuinely the complete opposite of Hook and gosh I'm rambling, aren't I?) Regardless, he's Irish, has great hair, is super nice and plays Captain Hook. What's not to like?

19 - Your Favorite Actress?

Jennifer Morrison, everybody. Pretty sure we're almost the same person in a super weird way, considering the fact that there's a lot of stuff we have in common, but that's all beside the point. I literally love JMo more every single day and she's definitely one of the people I want to meet in my life. Adorable in every single way. 

20 - Your Favorite OUAT Quote? 

"Life is Made up of moments. Good ones; Bad Ones, but they're all worth living." - Prince Charming to Emma Swan in Episode 3x10: The New Neverland. Easy. It's absolutely my favorite quote. Hands down.

21 - Your Favorite Backstory? (of any character)

Another tough one, and as much as I love Hook's backstory, I think I'm going to have to go with Red Riding Hood. That episode in Season One just blew me away. Everyone knows the story of Red Riding Hood, but making her the wolf? BRILLIANT. I don't think I can express enough how much that was a great twist on the story!

22 - Something you want to see/find out that hasn't been revealed yet? 

As of right now, how the Snow Queen knows Emma. I think that's one of the biggest questions running through our minds right now. I have my ideas, and I know a few things here and there, but not enough to figure out just how they know one another. I'm really interested in finding out though, and I hope we get some new information in 4x05!

23 - Any prop you could take from the set? 

My roommates and I had a discussion about this one, and I've narrowed it down to like...three. My initial instinct is the yellow bug, since it's so iconic. But where in the world would I put a yellow bug? So then I decide on the Red Leather Jacket because who wouldn't want that? But I technically have a red leather jacket (although I don't have one worn by Jennifer Morrison soo...). And then I was like...dude...the hook. That would be absolutely brilliant. I want to own the hook. I just want to see the hook. Or maybe Hook's jacket, despite the fact that it weighs 50 pounds. I'd gladly wear the coat if it meant I was wearing the coat Colin wore. And finally, there's the storybook, which after much deliberation is probably the thing that I'd want the most, as long as it included all the stories from the show. That's essential.

24 - If you could be anyone from Storybrooke or the Enchanted Forest, who would it be? 

Emma Swan, hands down. I mean, she hasn't had the best life, but I admire her as a character, fighting for what she wants. That's really important, especially considering the fact that she's still fighting even after everything she's gone through. I think that's probably one of the reasons I love CaptainSwan so much, it's because here's two people that have the world literally working against them and yet they continue to push forward.

Plus she gets to kick down doors and can seriously walk in heels and gets to date Hook soo...

25 - Your favorite character entrance? 

Honestly I'm not 100% sure what this means, but let's see. I absolutely adore how Charming enters the pilot, opening up literally the entire show by riding in to save Snow. That's a pretty epic entrance. But Regina wins, hands down. That's one serious entrance.

26 - A character you would like to see more of? 

I really am excited to see more about Belle actually. I mean, Emma for sure too, but I already love Emma and just feel that Belle at least deserves some more screen time. I know we'll be getting some backstory for this particular princess probably in just a week or two, so that's exciting. I mean, I'd always love to see more Hook and Emma, but these days they're thankfully pretty well accounted for. So Belle. Definitely Belle.

27 - Favorite location/set? 

I'm actually particularly fond of Mary Margaret's apartment, which is basically home base these days. It's just my style, with a vintage-antique-mismatch sort of feel. Plus I love the open floor plan and the apartment style and the simply homey feel of it. I'd love to visit the set to be completely honest, or you know...live there or something.

28 - Storybrooke or the Enchanted Forest? 

Storybrooke, hands down. I can't wait to visit Steveston some day, even if I don't make it there until long after the show has concluded. The town is just so beautiful and I love every bit of it. I mean, the Enchanted Forest is great too, but there's just something extra magical about Steveston being a real place I can visit.

29 - Your Favorite Fairy Tale? Did you like the OUAT Version? 

Well, when the show started I'd have to say Rapunzel, but I'm pretty well-versed in my fairy tales now, after taking a class and growing seriously interested in the stories themselves. I actually really did like the Rapunzel twist they took, although I'm sad it's more of a one time thing than anything else. A lot of people (my friends included) are disappointed with the take they went with on Rapunzel, but I liked the idea that she was afraid and was her own enemy. I think stories like that are more powerful and easier to relate to than most others.

30 - What got you interested in Once Upon A Time? 

I actually started watching after seeing the promos for the first episode, now two years ago. I was like, "Hey, a show about fairy tales! That sounds cool!" and figured I would try it out because, well, why not? I wasn't currently watching any other TV shows and it sounded interesting so I watched the pilot...and the next episode and the one after that and so on and so forth until here we are three years later blogging about my all time favorite moments and characters from the entire show.

It's been a great three years though, that's for sure. I can't even count the number of people I've met because of the show...or the number of people that I already knew and got addicted to the show. It's an issue. Even my brother tends to quote Hook or something from time to time, although it's half to annoy me and half as a joke (but seriously Kid...the eyebrow thing). I mean, obviously this show has made an impact on me. I have a red leather jacket in my closet, I dress up for a television show every Sunday, my favorite OUAT quote is on my wall, I have a poster on my shelf that says "Work Like a Captain, Party Like a Pirate," I've taken an entire class on fairytales and am seriously considering doing further research with them for projects in the future and somewhere along the line, Colin O'Donoghue and Jennifer Morrison, along with the entire rest of the cast and crew, have wormed their way into my mind and heart. It brings me happiness and joy and most of all, Once Upon A Time brings me hope.

So happy birthday Emma Swan and Once Upon A Time. Here's to many, many more CaptainSwan kisses and long hiatuses and intriguing backstories and spectacular sets and curses and cliffhangers that leave us on the edge of our seats.
