Day 795: The Love Triangle Theory: Volume 2

Let me tell you flat out: this post has been a long time in coming.

If you've been around since the beginning, or near beginning, of Everyday Disney, you might remember a blog post I did on Day 98, titled Love Triangles. If you haven't read that post, you can go back and find it HERE. Basically, I have this theory, which I, obviously, call the Love Triangle Theory. It states that in any love triangle, regardless of the situation or film or previous relations (*cough* Luke & Leia *cough*), the second two portions of the love triangle will automatically end up together. Of course, there's probably some real science behind all of this, like the fact that, yes, of course the second two in like a RomCom will end up together because otherwise there wouldn't be a love triangle and so on and so forth...but I have new couples to prove my point here.

Hmmm...but what order to put them in? I call this volume the Once Upon A Time edition soo.....

Robin & Regina: 

Affectionately called OutlawQueen by us Oncers, this couple definitely showcases the Love Triangle Theory, especially as we continue forward in the season. I will not, however, give away any spoilers, so let's take a step back and examine one of the favorite couples on the show. Robin Hood is married to Maid Marian, who is dead and then not dead (that sentence, oddly enough, sums up the whole show...dead and then not dead. Wow), and meanwhile Robin Hood falls in love with Regina, who's former true love, Daniel, died when her mother ripped out and crushed his heart. Regardless, that means that we have Marian, Robin and Regina as the three points on the love triangle. Now yes, I know what you're thinking, "But Lizzie, Robin Hood went to New York with Marian and picked her!" But you see, it's not over yet, and I, like many others, do indeed believe that OutlawQueen will come back as endgame. After all, he did say, when Marian was frozen, by the way, that he loves Regina, and we all know that True Love's kiss didn't work...so there...point proven.

Anna & Kristoff:

Just because this is the OUAT Edition doesn't mean these Frozen characters can't make an appearance too! After all, they WERE on OUAT! By this point, we all know the story of Anna and Kristoff, and of course, the second I saw Frozen over a year ago I was like "LOVE TRIANGLE THEORY!" because these two, plus Hans, are literally a 100% perfect example. So we have Princess Anna, who meets Hans and wants to marry him within a song and five minutes. Part one of the love triangle. She THEN meets Kristoff, second, and they go on the giant adventure and she still thinks Hans in her true love even though he isn't and then she ends up with Kristoff. Easy enough, right? Obviously, on OUAT we know they get married (after an extremely long other adventure that also involves Hans and pirates and a curse and yeah). Point Proven...again.

Charming & Snow: 

I'm not really sure how much this one counts, but I think it does because back in Season 1 there was the whole Kathryn thing, so let's think this through. Snow and Charming didn't meet until after he was already engaged to Abigail (Kathryn), therefore making them the second halves of the love triangle, even in Storybrooke. So the whole time you just KNOW that they're going to end up together...although I guess we kind of knew that even without the whole Love Triangle Theory thing but STILL...POINT PROVEN!

Emma & Hook: 

Of course the daughter of a successful love triangle would also be part of a love triangle...and of course I'd save the best for last. Granted, Hook and Emma are actually really screwed up when it comes to love triangles. I mean, after all, there was the whole memory loss thing, and a character death (And then un-death...and then re-death), and then the time travel and snow monster and really this is just getting tiring...but they are one of the greatest examples of the love triangle, and the reason that it's taken me two years to post Volume 2 of the theory. I've been waiting for my OTP to become cannon enough to make this post for so long, and I refused to make Volume two without them, so lucky for me, the love triangle theory continues. Basically, we had this situation:

Emma meets Neal, falls in love with Neal, has Henry with Neal, but Neal abandoned her, so then she went to Storybrooke like 12 years later, where she eventually ends up going to the Enchanted Forest, where she meets Hook (second), then they all go back to Storybrooke, and Neal comes back, and then dies, but then he comes back (Again), and then there's a really awkward love triangle throughout Neverland and then Hook says he's gonna back off, but then Emma has to leave and Hook saves her and Neal dies (again) and then CaptainSwan becomes a thing after a really weird duel CaptainSwan moment in the past. Wow that's confusing. But it's also yet another example of the love triangle theory, and probably one of the more important ones when it comes down to it. 

Regardless, the point with all of these is this: the love triangle theory always works. As for Rumbelle, it works for them too, except for right now because who knows what's gonna go down with this whole Will Scarlet thing. I just hope that whatever happens, they don't mess up the theory. It would put a real downer on this whole idea.

Day 713: The Disneybounds Continue

With the first half of the Once Upon A Time Season 4 coming to a close, that means that, for a few months, so are my OUAT Disneybounds. I only Disneybound for episodes (although I do other Disneybounds quite frequently...just wait until my Disney trip!). This season, so far, was especially fun for me, with all the Frozen Disneybounds and new characters and new outfits. Yep, it was a great time. Add on the fact that I've had more favorites and comments on these 'bounds than I've ever had before and I'd say it's been a very successful S4A.

Let's see, where did we leave off? It was with Marian, I believe. But let's just take a real quick look back at the beginning of Season 4:

Which brings us to Prince Eric. A little bit of me is kind of sad that I didn't save this for the second half of the season, but I did promise the actor on Halloween that a Eric Disneybound would be coming. So I threw it in. Plus, I'd been wanting to do one for ages, and I've yet to do Ursula or Ariel, so I think I'll be set on that front when we get to S4B! 

I can't 100% talk for my roommates, but I think this was one of their favorites. Or maybe it was one of my own favorites, simply because when we play the game each week of who I'm dressed as, everyone got it right away! Sometimes it definitely takes a while! PLUS, Lee Arenberg, the actor who portrays Grumpy/Leroy, favorited this one! Definitely a success! 

And finally, to finish off Season 4A the right way, we have Kristoff. This one was great, partly because of Baby Sven, partly because it gave me an excuse to wear my Hook pants and a scarf, and mostly because Scott M. Foster, who portrays Kristoff on OUAT favorited this one! It's always super awesome to have the cast see my Disneybounds, because a huge part of me does it for them. 

As my friends always say, ideally, one day when I meet some of the cast, they'll meet me and I'll mention the outfits and they'll sort of know who I am and what I'm talking about. It's a long shot, but let's be real, I have at least another half a season of outfits to go before I actually have any chance of meeting the cast, so let's just keep going. 

Season 4B, and this is the first I've talked about this really, so big announcement, is still in the works. I won't start searching for outfits until the end of January, at the earliest. Regardless, I CAN tell you that there are outfits for Cruella, Ursula and Malificent all in the cards, of course, as well as Ariel, Archie, probably a Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin and, if things all work out, another Evil Queen! I'm quite excited to see what the new half season brings, and it can't come fast enough!

Day 711: Reindeers Are Better Than People

I feel like we should start counting how many of my blog post titles have Frozen references in them. In case you haven't noticed yet, every single blog post title is different. I started that a long time ago and just kind of kept going with it. A few are similar (especially if you count the series posts such as My Favorite Things or My Disney Collection), but overall they're all different. It helps me keep track of things, in a backwards sort of way.

Anyways, there comes the time at the end of every semester of college where you have to go home, and it's more depressing than it really sounds. I come home quite often, since I live so close, so coming home for good sounds like more pain than pleasure. I love my dorm, I love my roommates, and I even love school (Although the break from homework is nice...even though I'm doing more work now than I had to do half the semester). There isn't quite as much to do at home, and watching movies and such gets old after about a week. One of the biggest pains though? Packing everything up to come home. We're home for over a month for our Christmas break, and we can't get back into our dorm rooms during that time, meaning that you really need to bring absolutely everything home or else you're going to have to face living without it for a month. It makes things difficult, that's for sure. Honestly, it's kind of like you move four times a year.

My roommate Ashley and I, however, found a way to make our packing a bit less miserable. Hannah and Megan had already left, so it was just the two of us finishing gathering all our stuff, and in order to do that, you need music. So of course, blasting Frozen music and singing obnoxiously loud seemed like the right thing to do.

If you're like me, you bought the Deluxe Edition of the Frozen soundtrack the day it came out, and know just how difficult it is to get through the entire thing in one sitting. It's several hours long, and generally tasks don't take quite that amount of time. Unless you're packing up your dorm room for holiday break. Then you have hours and hours of time to listen.

And in the end, we did accomplish it. We listened to the entire Frozen soundtrack. All the regular songs that everyone hears, and the instrumental music and the sing-along versions and the deleted songs from the second disc. Everything. In the end, we decided that there's one very under appreciated song that really should have been in the credits after all...

I know I'm supposed to picture Jonathan Groff singing it, but honestly I just got this picture of Scott M. Foster singing it on Once instead and gosh, that made my day. I need this to be a blooper. Just all the Frozen singing, but especially this. 

Na na na na na na na REINDEER!

Day 588: Not So Frozen Summer Fun

Raise your hand if you're not at Disney and that makes you incredible angry!

(Unless you actually are at Disney you better be raising your hand).

Seriously, nothing is worse than being stuck at home or at school when at Walt Disney World you know that people are experiencing Frozen Summer Fun at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It's been going on for some time now, and since I personally have yet to have my chance meeting Anna and Elsa, it makes me pretty darn sad. I love Frozen just like everybody else, although as I've said before, Tangled will always win in my heart. I'll race across half a park to meet Flynn Rider but I'm not going to wait two hours to meet Anna and Elsa. Thanks very much.

But that doesn't mean I don't want to experience Frozen Summer Fun with the rest of you! I've been seeing pictures since the beginning (a hazard of following so many Disney Instagramers), and gosh it looks spectacular. And KRISTOFF. KRISTOFF PEOPLE. KRISTOFF.

I think the one I'm most jealous of though is the Frozen Fireworks Spectacular. It isn't very often that there are fireworks at Hollywood Studios, and while I've had some super amazing experiences when it comes to fireworks there, it's just not the same sitting here at home. I mean, all I'm asking is for someone to send me to Disney for a Day so I can see this stuff.

Or, alternatively, you could send me a baby Sven stuffed animal. Those things are ADORABLE.

Day 582: Storybrooke Is Frozen

Back in Season one, you could say that the little town of Storybrooke, Maine was "frozen." I mean, after all, time never moved there, with everyone except for Henry living in this perpetual state of what basically amounts to nothingness. Not one of them realized that time, in reality, was passing without them aging, even the children. Except for Henry of course.

Now things are changing though, with Elsa in Storybrooke and promises of Kristoff, Hans, Anna and Sven, along with a few other loveable characters, things are going to get pretty chilly.

So WHY IN THE WORLD CAN'T I STOP WITH THE SPOILERS?

It's an age old question, and honestly, one can get pretty deep here. We, as humans, have this want to know what happens next. It's the reason that cliffhangers just about kill all of us, because we can never know what is going to happen in our personal lives. We are often uncertain of the outcome, and therefore, when it comes to things like TV Shows, we have a certain amount of control over how much we know. The problem is, it often becomes hard because of that need to see the future.

If you ask me, I've done pretty well so far. Alright, so maybe I know just about every spoiler that's come out and can basically tell you things that will totally for sure happen, but on the bright side I don't know the order of the scenes like I did for New York City Serenade...and I'm trying pretty darn hard to NOT look at the spoilers as they come out. Sometimes it's just...things happen. Actually, I end up accidentally seeing things because of Pinterest or Twitter or something. It's a serious issue. But I'm not about to give up all my social media for the next month. No thanks.

But Frozen people. FROZEN.

I've heard a lot of different opinions on this idea, of Anna and Elsa joining our lovely Once cast and how it will either ruin the show or the film and storyline. I don't agree with either. This isn't Frozen in it's movie state, it's a continuation of the story, and I fully trust Adam and Eddy to make the right decisions. After all, I never really loved fairy tales until after they got their hands on them and now I love them to death, finding deeper meaning and inspiration in the pages. If that isn't successful, I don't know what is.

So I'm definitely on the welcoming side of Frozen on Once. I can't wait to see how these characters interact with the ones I already love, although if anyone stands in the way of my Hook and Emma moments I might have a few issues. Something tells me I'm going to hate a few people in the future, but that's alright. I love all the characters of Once, because they all play their own roles, so in the end it'll be worth it.

Although I could do with a bit less angst.

Day 385: Frozen Appreciation

I saw Frozen again.

Yeah, that's about all I'm going to say about that because right now it's time for some Frozen Appreciation: AKA All of the awesome Frozen posts that I've been finding on Tumblr and Pinterest. Seems like a good time, right? Also, note that if you have yet to see Frozen, there will probably be spoilers on this post. So, with that said, let's start things off with some Hans Appreciation, because even though he's super evil, I still love him.

I admit, the top one is just a picture of Hans, but I liked it, so I figured I would share it anyways. And then the Lion King Mash Up just made me laugh. The Douche comes from "Smolder, By Flynn," which I shared not too long ago. It's totally true though. And then that bottom one just hits you right in the feels and you're like darnit! 

I just have to comment on the two above this, because it's happening again and it's the truest thing ever. I mean really, ETERNAL WINTER EVERYWHERE HAPPENED! 

Ok, as a college student, that one is totally a description of how we feel at the end of the semester. Like so much. We always tell ourselves that we'll be determined to do our work but that never happens. Hopefully I can beat it this semester though! (See what I'm doing already). Then I must comment on "HOW DOES ELSA DO THAT WITH HER HAIR!?!" I wish I could do that. We also all need a little Pocket Princesses in our lives, right? And finally, again...that last one hits you right in the feels. 

And yes, we all need more Olaf in our lives. So there's lot of him...cause he's awesome. I love Olaf. 

Also I did a second Frozen Disneybound for this time going to see it, Kristoff!
