Day 273: The end of Frumpstagram 2013

That's right, just as tomorrow is the beginning of the month, today is the end of the month. And that means that it's the end of Frumpstagram 2013. It was a good run, and honestly it's the first time I've ever completed an entire photo-a-day challenge on Instagram! How awesome is that! Maybe it's because I had it on the blog or because it was Disney, but it worked! So let's take a look back at all the pictures from this month, and you'll see today's down at the bottom of the post like normal!

And finally we have today's Frumpstagram post, "Classic." I actually posted this a few minutes late due to some technical difficulties with my phone running out of battery (and I'm actually writing this on October 1st), but I think it still counts! I mean, after all, nothing is more classic than the Walt Disney World Train Station! Thanks for joining me with this Frumpstagram adventure all through this month!
And here's today's Disney History: 2012: The second season of ABC-TV's Once Upon a Time premieres with the episode "Broken." (Of course, I haven't been freaking out about OUAT at all. Not one bit...)

Have a magical day!

Day 272: The Heart of the Truest Believer

Alright, I held on posting this for a couple of reasons. One, to make sure that people had a couple of days to watch the first episode of Season 3 of Once Upon a Time, but also because I just honestly haven't had time to post much of anything for the past couple of weeks and am now just making it all back up!

Either way, as I'm sure you all know, Once Upon a Time has BEGUN! Again! That's right, for the next 10 weeks we have straight episodes of OUAT, and then a 12 week break that will probably kill me, and then another 11 episodes in the spring.

So let's talk a bit about this first episode. I know that before it premiered to everyone and it was just seen by the press, many commented that it reminded them why they love OUAT, and I totally agree. Everything was absolutely amazing. The opening scene, for instance, was perfect. Henry's birth was a great way to start out the season, especially when I really wasn't sure where or how it was going to start. That's also our only flashback in the entire episode, which is kind of new since we normally have like half flashback have current day.

So let's move on to Neverland in the current day. Things seem to be getting pretty tense all up on the Jolly Rodger. Emma doesn't exactly trust her parents, and calls them out on it as well. I know it's supposed to be serious as well, but I can't help but laugh every time she's like "But we're the same age" and it's like haha yeah you are!

Oh, and then Hook's constant awesome lines, like "Oh that's a good use of our time. A wardrobe change." Haha cracks me up every single time! Despite the fact that Rumple is the first to go AWOL, but you know, Hook is right. That's obviously the best use of their time...NOT. I mean, he totally even ruffled up his hair. What is up with that? But that wasn't Hook's only spectacular line. There was also the one near the end, "Actually I quite fancy you from time to time, when you're not yelling at me."

I think, actually, overall, this was the funniest episode to date in the way of one liners. Like half the cast says something at some point that's just absolutely hilarious. Like when Henry is like "we making smores?" or that comment from Regina about "Rainbow kisses and unicorn stickers." All great lines that had everyone in my OUAT party laughing.

But there was one portion of the episode that I didn't really like. I guess I just can't figure out why they got rid of Greg and Tamara so quickly. Like I want them dead as much as the next person, and I was actually like "YES!" when Tamara got shot with that arrow, but it just felt too quick for them to die. But we wonder if maybe Greg is still alive. We're still not sure how the whole shadow thing works, so yeah.

And the ending. That has to be the best ending since Graham back in season one. Just the creepiness of the line from Pan of "Let's Play," and then it cuts was like "NOOOOO HENRY!" As usual I can't wait until next Sunday to see the new episode, and with a little luck we'll get more CaptainSwan moments! I suppose I should touch on the fact that Neal is around and that's cool and all and he is Henry's dad, but I still love CaptainSwan way more. Hook and Emma...they just obviously belong together. And don't even get me started on how ridiculous HookedQueen is. Sorry to all you other shippers, but I will forever ship CaptainSwan! Neal does have some great one-liners though.

Either way, let's see. What's going to happen next week? I honestly have no clue what's all going to go on. I know we don't see Storybrooke in the next episode either, so that should be interesting. Henry...well something will happen to Henry in between these episodes. Emma is gonna become a Lost Girl, which we already know because that's the title of this next episode. Meanwhile Hook is totally doing exactly what the writer's hinted at...setting his sights on Emma, and I think it's amazing to see how he's changed as a character from his first episode until now. Rumple has something going on, and Neal is gonna try to get back to Emma...hopefully by then a pirate will be in the way. Regina is probably going to do something, well, Regina-like. She's awesome, but I just have this feeling that she might go AWOL like Rumple did at some point.

Also, although this really just adds pictures to this, one of my friends suggested after tonight that I Disneybound as a Once character for every episode, since tonight I pulled an Emma Disneybound! I do already have my character for next week but you'll just have to wait and see who it is!

Today on Frumpstagram it's "Best," and honestly one of the best things I've experienced at Walt Disney World was this: getting to be the last people in the Magic Kingdom and basically watch the Kiss Goodnight all by ourselves on Main Street.

Here's today's Disney History: 1980: Zachary Levi, the voice of Flynn Rider in Disney's 2010 animated Tangled, is born in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Day 271: Almost Time!

If you are anything like me, then you are SUPER DUPER REALLY SERIOUSLY OBSESSIVELY EXCITED for the Season 3 premiere of Once Upon a Time tomorrow. I know I've been talking about it here and there for weeks, but you know what, it's finally time! The premiere isn't 20 days away anymore, it's TOMORROW!

So I figured that we shall talk about some of the theories of what will be happening come the first episode and those that follow it. I mean, after I watch the episode tomorrow there will be totally new theories as to what's going to happen, and obviously tomorrow's blog post is going to be about the season premiere and those new theories, so let's get this all straightened out.

Let's start with new characters, because that way I'll save the best for last. I think the biggest news we've heard around new characters is certainly Eric and Ariel. We know they're coming, but that's about it. At first I was pretty certain that Ariel was going to be one of those evil mermaids over in Neverland. I mean, that would easily make sense considering our big 6 are headed there, but since then we've seen plenty of evidence to suggest that Ariel isn't anywhere near Neverland, but instead in Storybrooke with Belle. What does this mean? I have no clue. Actually I've heard we won't be seeing Storybrooke at all in the first few episodes, so I guess this theory can be put on the backburner.

With the same idea of new characters, there's Tinkerbell, who, obviously, will be found in Neverland. We haven't really seen much of her but I believe she appears in the third episode of the season. But with the twist on the Peter Pan fairytale and Hook teamed up with our heroes, where does that leave Tink? I honestly think it's kind of up in the air.

Moving on, I've certainly heard rumors for some backstory episodes, all of which I am quite excited for. Mostly I'm ready for a Hook backstory, which will hopefully let us all in on how he became a pirate (didn't he say in an episode in S2 that his father abandoned him? Poor Hook!) and so on and so forth. I'm sure there's some interesting stuff there and it sets it up perfectly for something I'll talk about in a minute. There's also been rumors of a Rumple backstory, and I feel like this one could also happen. We know from that Sneak Peek that Rumple has obviously been in contact with these shadowy kids, and I've been wondering for a while why his father was seriously considered a coward. I mean, that's a pretty big thing and he originally seemed pretty determined to not fall under that same name (Although he did of course). And finally there's going to be...wait for it...a Henry backstory! It's been sounding like we'll get an episode that will shine some light on the subject of how Henry came to Storybrooke and how Regina adopted him. That's been a question since Season 1 for me honestly, so I'll be happy to see that get some attention.

But finally, what the heck is up with all the ships!?! I mean, we've got just about a billion different ships all trying to sail out of port at the same time. I guess Rumbelle and Snowing are already sailing, but then we have CaptainSwan and SwanThief (also called Swanfire). I mean, really, is that all necessary? We all know she's gonna end up with Hook! Just kidding, I can't say that for certain, but I have multiple theories as to what could come of this little love triangle. If you refer back to my Love Triangle theory from earlier this year, you'll know that, in theory, she has to end up with Hook, but there's so much going on everywhere that it's going to be interesting.

My latest question: Why has Neal been in all the cast photos? Is he in Neverland now and not the Enchanted Forest? HOW? And what the heck is up with that coconut!?!

Today's Frumpstagram post prompt was "wildlife," so considering the fact that I couldn't really find any wildlife pictures from my recent trips despite the fact that there's an entire Disney park dedicated to it, I decided that this obviously counts. It is a small world, after all!

Here's today's Disney History: 1982: Annual Passports (special year-long admission passes) are introduced at Walt Disney World.

Day 270: Confessions

Here's a confession for you: I watch too much TV. Like seriously, I do. It's funny too because just a year ago I did NOT have time to watch TV at all. I watched Once Upon a Time religiously, and of course I love watching Top Gear on History with my brother and The Great Food Truck Race on Food Network in the Fall. I also generally watch Glee, but that's about it when it comes to TV. I guess there are a few other shows I watch here and there, like My Yard Goes Disney, or basically anything on TV that is about a Disney Park.

But now, now apparently I watch half of what's on TV. Honestly I don't know how I have time for it either, but I guess when you split it up and put some of it on the weekends it works out alright. It's like how I spend my free time when I'm not in class or doing homework, or during those awkward 50 minute breaks that are too long to sit and wait and too short to get much of anything done.

So now I watch all kinds of shows. Obviously Once Upon a Time, because I haven't shut up about that for weeks. And I'm still watching Top Gear and while I'm behind on the Great Food Truck Race, I've still been watching that too. Glee has been on of course, but I can't say I'm looking forward to the third episode more than anyone else. I'm not ready to face that quite yet. And I'm still watching New Girl, although I really didn't start watching that until like the last seven episodes of season 2, but better late than never!

But what about new shows this fall? There are several new shows I'm beginning to watch along with those already on my schedule, and a bunch of them are on ABC. First and foremost we've got Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Honestly I don't have a ton of time to sit and watch TV live, so Hulu is my absolute best friend. But either way, I did get a chance to watch the Pilot episode and I absolutely loved it. Actually up until a couple of months ago when I first watched the Avengers, I really wasn't into the whole superhero thing. But this is going to be a great show, and like I do often with OUAT, the end left me with my mouth open and wishing that the episode would be longer. I already have a favorite character and can't wait to see where it goes from here!

Second we've got Dancing with the Stars, but you already knew that I've been watching that. Bill Nye probably won't win but hey, he's awesome and that means that I'm happy anyways. Other than that I'm loving Corbin and Amber. They are my favorites for sure, although I'm also very much rooting for Val & Tristan!

What about all the other shows though, since this blog post is getting kind of long? I also have started watching Trophy Wife on ABC after I watched the Pilot a few weeks ago on a whim and found it quite entertaining. The randomness of the entire show just made me laugh time and time again, so I'm watching that. Then I also recently started watching The Michael J. Fox Show, which I'm also enjoying because, well, it's Michael J. Fox, and it's just awesome that he has his own show now. Let's see, what else do I watch these days? I don't even know. I watch so much Once Upon a Time it's so difficult to figure out what I do other than think about Once Upon a Time. It's a problem.

Anyway, today's Frumpstagram post is hilarity, and there isn't much out there in my world of pictures than the time I pulled a Colin O'Donoghue and my brother made that face. Good times, good times.

Here's today's Disney History: 1982: At EPCOT Center's Future World, the attractions Energy Exchange, FutureCom, Kitchen Kabaret Revue, Universe of Energy and Harvest Theater all open as the park prepares for its October 1 grand debut. The park is in the midst of previews for Cast Members and families. Meanwhile, over at the American Adventure, exhausted Imagineers are happily relieved as the entire show runs from start to finish without stopping or crashing for the first time.

Have a magical day!

Day 269: Simple Disney Things

Since we're still in Pinterest week and I'm doing a great job of not really really really freaking out about Once Upon a Time...at least on this blog...I figured I'd share one of the more special Disney boards I have on Pinterest: Simple Disney Things.

For those of you who haven't seen the Simple Disney Things blog on Tumblr, certainly go and check it out. The layout of the blog makes me sad about the layout of my blog. It's just so beautiful and HTML everything! I really do wish I could do that! You can check out SDT HERE!

But even if you haven't seen the blog itself, I'm fairly certain that even if you haven't been to Disney or are not into it too much, that you've seen at least one or two of the beautiful posts she makes. I don't know how she does it, but they are beautiful. So I picked out a few to share that were on my Pinterest board.

As you can probably guess, there are hundreds of them, and her website makes it really easy to find exactly what you're looking for, depending on what park you're thinking of. Otherwise you can almost always find them on Tumblr or on Pinterest. Just looking through them always makes me really happy. =)

Frumpstagram for today had a prompt of "new," and there's no new thing I love more than the Tangled Rest Area!

Here's today's Disney History: 1993: Kraft ends its sponsorship of EPCOT's the Land Pavilion. Nestle will take over the following day.
