The end of the year is always kind of a time to reflect on things, right? I mean, after all, we reach it and realize that we either have or haven't accomplished what we intended to 364 days ago. We think about the trips we've taken, about those we've gained and lost, about the incredible experiences we've had and the wonderful things that have happened. People write letters at Christmas as a way to tell others how their year has been, and my family isn't any different. We wrote ours weeks ago, back when I was still at SNC. I thought about writing a "Christmas Letter" as a part of Everyday Disney, just as a sort of blog post on here, but it occurred to me that Everyday Disney in itself IS a Christmas letter. You can go back through 2014's posts and read about all those experiences and thoughts I've had since January 1. You can read through 2013 too if you really want to, although to be completely honest, unless you're really bored, I wouldn't recommend that.
But wow, two years of blogging. I know I've grown a lot in these past two years, in many more ways than one, and I can't even begin to express how this blog has helped me through all of that. I was actually just thinking a couple of weeks ago about how much happier I am right now compared to what I was a year ago, and even Everyday Disney shows that. Reading my TimeHop every single day is sort of comical, simply because you see my tweets to the Once cast, all with no responses, and then all of a sudden, sometime in the next few months, you'll see something click and my social media will take off, both on Instagram and Twitter. The same will happen for my vlogs on YouTube and, of course, here on Everyday Disney, and I definitely have all of you guys to thank for that.
Why you'd read about my daily life and Disney every day, or every once and a while even, I'm not really sure, but seriously, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for sticking with me through these past 730 days. I can't wait for another year.
Which gives us a minute or two to reflect on the past year. My biggest dream came true this year. I got to march down Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom, and I got to bring my best friends right along with me. How incredibly awesome and amazing is that? There aren't even words there, although you all know that I've written plenty of them on the subject. That band trip is still a huge part of my life as I finish editing the band trip video, and I'd like to take a second to thank all the support I've gotten from my friends, family, teachers and Disney in the process of dreaming about, auditioning for, planning for, participating in and continuing work on that trip.
Beyond that, I'd like to thank the entire cast and crew of Once Upon A Time. It's blatantly obvious in my posts that OUAT has become a HUGE part of my life in a very short amount of time (although I have been watching since the beginning of the story). Without OUAT I'm not sure where I'd be. It's been my constant, it's brought me something to look forward to, and I'm sure there are people out there who have figured out that the cast has basically brought me endless joy with their favorites, tweets and mere presence in my life. Plus, there are the friends that I've made through the show, and I absolutely cannot wait to meet some of you in the coming year!
And now, I noticed in the last post of last year, that I happened to mention a quote from the very first post of Everyday Disney, and I thought I would share it again: "But since I don't have many (or any really) other New Year's Resolutions, why can't this be it? Instead of planning to lose weight, eat better, read a series of books, learn how to bake or cook an entire new series of foods, or even write a story (something I am currently doing in my free time already), I am going to do this. I am going to write a blog, called Everyday Disney, which for 365 days, I will write a post a day, or at least put something on the blog in order to keep up with the days. I really do hope that I can accomplish this, because as it appears right now, I love the look of this blog and the idea that it holds, and I hope that you do too, since I would love to have some people follow and chat with me along the way, so that I can share my extreme love of Disney with everyone around me.
Thank you, and here's to a magical year, filled with endless possibilities and new frontiers!"
That idea is definitely still alive, even long after day 365. It's crazy to think that in this next year I'll hit my 1000th blog post, I'll have two huge Disney trips to talk about, and there's plenty of surprises around every turn (including a new New Year's Resolution that will be revealed TOMORROW)!
So, here's to 2014, and what a wonderful year it has been!
Have a magical day and a very happy new year! See you in the future!

Day 729: 2014
A year ago (literally to the day) I had this obnoxious idea that it might be fun to go back and see how many words I wrote for the entirety of 2013, and then do some searches for some keywords to see how many times certain things were posted. It took FOREVER to complete that blog post.
And I decided to do it again.
Just as last year, let's start out by looking at the number of words from each month. I've also included the totals from last year in italics:
January: 18,135 Words (13,637 Words)
February: 17,371 Words (8,679 Words)
March: 17,072 Words (15,162 Words)
April: 17,176 Words (14,709 Words)
May: 14,797 Words (16,948 Words)
June: 18,488 Words (17,237 Words)
July: 17,606 Words (17,710 Words)
August: 11,857 Words (17,366 Words)
September: 12,633 Words (19,109 Words)
October: 19,481 Words (20,741 Words)
November: 15,930 Words (24,406 Words)
December: 13,655 Words (20,299 Words)
Total: 194,201 Words
These numbers sometimes include "Have a magical day," and sometimes they don't. They do not include title names or dates, but they may include make-up post information. Honestly I'm not 100% sure, but I tried to keep it pretty much the same throughout. I used a different system to total all of this this time around, so it's a little fuzzy around the edges.
And then, using the same list of keywords from last year (with a few additions which are marked with a star), I've got the 2014 totals:
Disney (w/o Walt Disney/Walt Disney World/Everyday Disney):1400
Colin O'Donoghue (located by searching for "Colin"): 103
Emma Swan (Emma): 90
Hook: 195
Once Upon A Time (OUAT): 200
CaptainSwan: 40
*Jennifer Morrison (JMo): 55
*Twitter: 47
*Instagram: 78
Harrison Ford: 59
Star Wars: 50
Han Solo: 21
Indiana Jones: 19
*Frozen: 137
Epcot: 131
Spaceship Earth: 86
College: 127
Walt Disney: 31
(Walt) Disney World (WDW): 249
Everyday Disney: 41
I didn't calculate how many pictures and videos there were, simply because that's the part that took a really long time last year and I know for a fact that there were plenty of posts with plenty of pictures throughout 2014.
So, comparatively to 2014, things have been a bit crazier, but 2015 is sure to bring more adventures, and let's just stop talking about them and begin doing!
Have a magical day!

Day 728: 2014 - Part 2
As I do every half of the year, I have a post where I talk about my personal favorite blog posts from half of the year. I do one for each month and doing it every six months just keeps the posts a bit shorter and everything easier for me to manage. I did it during 2013, and I continued the tradition here in 2014!
If you want to read the 2013 favorite lists, you can find the first half HERE and the second half HERE.
As for the first half of 2014, just click on this link!
And so, let's take a look at my favorite posts from the second half of 2014!
Does it really surprise you that my favorite post from July comes from one of the best birthday's I've ever had, all of which is due to one particular Irish man who happens to play my favorite character on my favorite television show? Yeah, it shouldn't surprise you in the least. My tweet from Colin O'Donoghue is framed, has been shared multiple times over various social media and has been talked about many, many times since July here on Everyday Disney. I'm still reminded of it from time to time (when I'm not already smiling at it sitting on my shelf at college), as there are STILL people favoriting the tweet. Creepers.

Tuesday, July 15, 2014: Day 561: Basically Famous
Saturday, August 30, 2014: Day 607: The Facebook Tradition
Maybe it's because I'm on the brink of another trip, and that means that after six months my Facebook will once again change, or maybe it's because it's just one of those weird traditions I have that I absolutely love, but the blog post in August on the Facebook Tradition is definitely one of my favorites, more because of the topic than the post itself. It's also one of the topics that I made up in October or something because I was so far behind and the idea for the post just suddenly hit me.
Now I'm just thinking about what my new cover photo and profile picture will be.
Wednesday, September 24, 2014: Day 632: Seagulls
Just as it's not everyday that Colin O'Donoghue tweets you Happy Birthday, it's not everyday you make Jennifer Morrison crave a churro. September was an especially good month for me in the world of Tweet Collecting, with one retweet (and instagram repost!) from Jennifer Morrison and two favorites from her during #101Smiles. I can't even express how much happiness that brought me, and even now it helps get me through the day...when I'm not craving churros.
Thursday, October 23, 2014: Day 661: A Blue Star Candle
Here we have yet another Once Upon A Time themed posted, and you know, I'm sort of sensing a theme here. Anyway, this one happened to be a huge project for me one evening, clocking in at over two hours of work. So maybe it wasn't the best idea to do the entire Once Upon A Time 30-Day Challenge in one blog post, but I have to say, it's pretty impressive looking back now. Plus, it was Emma Swan's birthday! I felt like I needed to celebrate!
Monday, November 10, 2014: Day 679: Colors of Disney
This is one of the more fun blog posts I've done this year, if you ask me, and I'm definitely planning on doing a new edition of these color palettes once I return in January with new Instagram pictures. Plus, it'll fit right in with the theme for 2015 (still secret for everyone except a few inside people!). I love Instagram pictures, and I love color, and gosh, I just can't even express how much fun I had with this!
Thursday, December 4, 2014: Day 703: The Door of Encouragement
Throughout my college career so far, I've been blessed to have extremely wonderful roommates, and I can't wait to see what the next semester and upcoming years have. Of course, I'm also a huge fan of our Door of Encouragement, filled with inspiration and color to inspire us when we need it most. Plus, I'm pretty excited about the new additions that will be coming in the second half of the year, and I bet I'll have to share a new picture of the door when it's full at the end of the year!
Thursday, October 30, 2014: Day 668: Melvin
And now it's time for the first of two bonus posts! Melvin has been a great addition to our college lives, and you know what? Mevlin's going on a really big adventure this January, since he's home with me for J-Term. Plus, you have to admit that his little costumes have been pretty adorable. Although I'm a huge fan of all of them, I do think this Captain Hook one was my favorite, more because of the boat in the back and that hat than the fact that he was Captain Hook. Just wait until this next semester - Melvin's got plenty of new costumes to come!
Sunday, November 16, 2014: Day 685: Lizzie Watches Her Vlogs
And for a second bonus post, I had to include this fun post I did in combination with my Twitter back in November. I really don't watch my vlogs often once they're edited and posted to YouTube, but I definitely think this will be happening again in the future. After all, watching all my vlogs is basically like watching a really long, really weird movie, so why not!?!
So there you have it...the second half of 2014. It's honestly been a really great year, but guess what? I get to save all that mushy stuff for the last post of the year. Big announcements are coming, and I couldn't be more excited! Thanks for joining me for another year of Everyday Disney and if you fancy, you're more than welcome to go back and read my all-time favorite blog posts throughout the past two years by using those links at the beginning of this one!
Have a magical day!

Day 727: #LiquifiedLaptop
You really don't realize how much something means to you until it's gone.
That's one of those influential sayings, right? Or something like that? Regardless, I can definitely tell you that it's true. 100% true. And here's how I know:
The other day, water spilled on my laptop, affectionately named HAL9000 (maybe I cursed myself). I won't go into the story as to how the water spilled, but it did, and while honestly I'm not even mad about the water spilling, it did leave HAL out of order for the past few days, meaning that my ability to edit video and write blog posts was severely limited.
Now, as I've said to various people over the past couple of days, I think I was more angry and frustrated with the fact that I couldn't get my work done than the possibility of losing the last two years of my life, all stored on the wonderful HAL. And really, I was. Not getting my work done this close to a Disney trip is like a death sentence. If I don't have everything done that needs to be done, I'm just going to make my life more difficult when I return, as already I know I'll have to resume my constant working. It's a drastic difference from a year ago when all I really got to do during J-Term was watch How I Met Your Mother. Of course, I still make time to watch Gilmore Girls, but life is still filled with constant editing and blogging for me.
However, much to the relief of EVERYONE, HAL seems to be working fine (*knock on wood*), and I couldn't be happier. Having my laptop back is a huge relief, especially since I'm now able to continue blogging and editing the video. Plus, having HAL back means that he should, hopefully, be good to go with us to Florida as usual.
Here's a bit of HAL's adventure over the past few days:

Oh, HAL, it's been a real adventure, hasn't it? But we're sure glad you're back in action. Pretty sure Everyday Disney wouldn't exist without you. No seriously, I wouldn't be able to blog all the time without my laptop. This is crucial.
Then again, it is sort of ironic. We say the laptops of my dorm room are all cursed, as they've all faced either water damage or screen damage within the last few months, and I DID say that I've had just about every technical difficulty possible with this band trip video, so it was only a matter of time I suppose!
Have a magical day!

Day 726: A Dream Trip Come True
As you already know, I've been extremely busy over the past few days. Basically, I get up in the morning, and then hurry on to do some video editing, and if I'm not doing that, then generally I'm blogging or working on something else and yes, this life is pretty crazy.
But within all of this work, I managed to finish up the vlogs from my trip in June, because yes, I still vlogged on the band trip. It only seemed right, especially since I had friends with me too. Plus, I've vlogged every other trip, so why not do the biggest trip of my life?
Regardless, I didn't want to blog about these videos until I had them all up on YouTube and I could embed them here, but here I am! An end of the year treat!

Day 725: On The Server
You may or may not remember a day back in November when I blogged about the Walt Disney World server on the popular game Minecraft, and if you don't, you can read it HERE. However, today I finally remembered it, as he was playing Minecraft on his computer while I continued working on my blog, and not only did he know what I was talking about, but we ended up spending like an hour exploring the server, and I have to say that it's even cooler in person.
Jonny started me out by taking me to Epcot, which of course I loved. We even rode the Minecraft version of Spaceship Earth. From there we checked out other parts of Epcot until our lag caught up to us and we bounced back to the TTC. But can we just talk about the beautifulness that is the Minecraft Spaceship Earth for a moment...

From there we ended up looking at the Grand Floridian, which is also absolutely beautiful, even in Minecraft:
It's also sort of ironic because while my parents have been on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Jonny and I haven't as of yet, but we went on it in Minecraft. Therefore, our first ride through of Mine Train was on the computer more than it was in person. That's alright though. Now we have a comparison for when we finally get on it next week!
I have to say that the entire Disney World Minecraft Server is more beautiful that I could have possibly imagined. It's extremely well done and I can definitely tell the work that was put into it without even being a Minecraft player. I've never built anything on the game, but I can definitely understand the intricate detail that went into this. I mean come on, I rode Spaceship Earth on Minecraft.
Have a magical day!

Day 724: A Very Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone (even if this post is a few days late, technically!)
Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. No, scratch that, it is my favorite time of year. Christmas is just brilliant, and I love every second of it. Except for when I have so much work to do that I'm more worried about that than anything else, but that's not in the spirit of the season! So let's hear about the good things that happened this Christmas:

Except for when I have so much work to do that I'm more worried about that than anything else, but that's not in the spirit of the season! So let's hear about the good things that happened this Christmas:
It's always a great Christmas present when one of the Once Cast favorite your tweet to them! On Christmas Eve I happened to wear the dress I have deemed my "Marian Dress," since it's the one I wore for my Marian Disneybound, and I tweeted that fact to Christie Laing, only to get a favorite in return! Definitely a great Christmas Eve surprise!
Also on Christmas Eve, I have to mention that my absolute favorite part of Christmas each year is singing Silent Night by Candlelight in Church. Earlier in the week we thought that the candles might have been ditched for battery operated versions and I just about had a panic attack. Thank goodness this turned out to be false and we got to sing by candlelight as usual!
I didn't get many gifts this year, simply because I'm going to be getting a new alto saxophone sometime soon, but my parents did get me Idina Menzel's Holiday Wishes CD, which is pretty darn awesome. Not pictured is the Ninja Blender I got from my Aunt, Uncle and Cousins. I freaked out about that one.
Christmas also gave me the perfect excuse to wear my Olaf sweater, which I'm super hyped to wear at Disney next week! Olaf is pretty cool, after all. Oh, and no pun intended there. Or maybe it was intended...who knows?
It also seems that it can't quite be Christmas without Indiana Jones in our house. I checked my TimeHop later in the evening and noticed that in the past few years, we always seem to watch Indiana Jones on Christmas Day. I have no clue how this started or why we keep doing it, but I have no complaints!
But as I posted on Instagram and Facebook, my favorite Christmas present came six months ago (almost to the day), when I fulfilled my dream of marching down Main Street U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. I couldn't have asked for a better gift!
However, I really didn't enjoy this year's Christmas Day Parade, so let's just forever listen to the opening number from last year because Neil Patrick Harris is just the best:
Have a magical day & Merry Christmas!

Day 723: Michael Jackson
Considering the fact that I've been blogging for quite some time and just recently posted that one about the music (as in two blog posts ago), I'm still listening to Michael Jackson music. And by Michael Jackson music, I mean I have "We Are Here To Change The World" on repeat at the current moment. I doubt it's going to change until after this blog post is finished for sure either.
Here's a bit of an ironic story for you though:
Back when Michael Jackson was alive, I really wasn't a fan. Granted, I didn't really even know about Captain EO back in those days and up until his death, I didn't even really know much about him. So when he died, I wasn't super affected. It was the return of Captain EO to the Disney Parks that MADE me a Michael Jackson fan though, and while I'm not a fan of Captain EO itself (I don't really like the simulator feel), I am a fan of the film itself and the music. Plus I can do a pretty darn good moonwalk, so there's that.
However, there's one other thing that really made me a Michael Jackson fan. A few years ago I read from "From Dreamer to Dreamfinder," the book by Ron Schneider, and I loved it. More importantly, in that book there's a section where he mentions that Michael Jackson loved coming to Disney World, and in particular he loved the Imagination Garden at Epcot.
It just so happens that this same garden is one of my personal favorite places at Epcot. It's beautiful and calm and you can't get over catching those jumping fountains. When I read in the book that this was MJ's favorite location, I just kind of felt a little bit of a connection there, and it led to me loving Captain EO and MJ himself more than I ever had before.
So let's just all watch this and listen to the song a million more times:

Day 722: More Spaceship Earth
As if I didn't already have enough of Spaceship Earth in my collection, which you can find HERE, I found a piece that I happened to miss when I made that original post!
I was working on the update to the mug collection post last week while also cleaning out my mugs from one cabinet and moving them to another when I happened to look up to the top shelf where this little bugger was hiding:
Honestly, I didn't even remember that I had this, but apparently I do, and now it's on a shelf in my bedroom with the rest of the collection (actually, one shelf has proven to be too small for my collection, so I've enlisted a second shelf), and there it will stay.
But honestly, what even should I call this? Technically, I'm pretty sure it's a Spaceship Earth water bottle, but I might be mistaken. I mean, a Spaceship Earth shaped water bottle isn't exactly the most convenient thing to carry around. It literally is shaped like a giant spaceship earth with a weird handle on one side, and who knows how long it's been sitting in the cabinet (probably since 2000 honestly).
However, it's one of those awesome, unique additions to my collection that makes the Spaceship Earth collection I have what it is. Without stuff like this or the little wind up toy, it really wouldn't be a collection, would it?
Have a magical day!

Day 721: Music, Music, Everywhere
Editing a huge amount of video for the Band Trip also means that I've spent my fair share of time trying to find the perfect music for each segment. I've had a bunch of people compliment me on my ability to find just that perfect song for each section of video I edit, regardless of if it's at Disney or not. I suppose I have to agree with them. Going back and watching the various segments is pretty awesome, especially when the music works really well.
However, there's also a downside to editing the video. I never really get to "See" it. You know? I spend all my time editing the video, and I can definitely be proud of it, but I never get to experience it for the first time, because I created it. I have my favorite moments here and there, but it's not the same thing everyone else will see when the entire video is completed.
The other downside is by the time it's finished it will be at least 45 minutes long, and that means I have to sit through 45 minutes of video multiple times. As if I haven't seen some of this enough already. This must be what it's like to be in television or film production.
Anyway, it takes quite a bit to find those perfect songs, and honestly I'm not even sure how I do it. The only way I really know how to express it is that I spend a ton of time listening to music. I'm always listening to music. ALWAYS. Right now it's the soundtrack to Spaceship Earth, as odd and ironic as that is, simply because I've been listening to a lot of Disney Parks music today. With an upcoming trip it feels right. But normally I'm listening to Pandora or iTunes radio or a new soundtrack or something or other, and eventually you just come up with the right song. Occasionally, the right song will appear out of no where (I happened to hear a song on the NASA channel the other day on TV and made sure to figure out what it was because it just felt like a song I could use for something in the future), and sometimes you'll search for ages before finding just that right one. I have a playlist of all the possible music for the band trip video on iTunes, and I continuously add to it as I go, to the point where now I've only use around 8 songs, but the playlist has over 30 various tracks.
It's a long process.
Now, if only I could figure out a way to fit the following song into the Band Trip Video...

Day 720: That's On A Cake?
This is one of those short little posts where Disney just sort of popped up in a random place and I felt the need to blog about it!
This time it was at our local Dairy Queen. We don't have a ton of food joints here in little old Seymour, aside from a McDonalds, Subway, a Chinese Restaurant called China Garden and Dairy Queen. That's just about it. Of these, we frequent everything except McDonalds, and in the past (such as my senior year of High School), Dairy Queen was almost a daily figure in our lives. I personally love the Orange Julius smoothies so don't worry, I'm not eating ice cream every day of my life.
However, when we were there the other night, I happened to look at the catalog of ice cream cake designs, and there wasn't just one Disney cake, there was a whole Disney section. In fact, there might have been two.
To save space on my phone (since it was getting pretty full of pictures. I'd better delete some before Disney...) I only took a picture of one, a Frozen design, but you get the idea.
Now personally, aside from the fact that I really should never touch an Ice Cream cake again in my life due to my lactose intolerance, I don't think I'd get one of these things. They're cute and everything, but there are just better cakes out there. I mean, take a look at this:

HERE's the link to that cake, and check out some of the other fabulous designs on the site while you're there! This Snow White one is absolutely beautiful as well!
So let's be honest here. Those second two cakes are way more beautiful than the first, although I seriously also love some Dairy Queen ice cream cake (even if I shouldn't eat it). Something tells me I need to up my cupcake skills. Frozen inspired cupcakes sound like my next project.

Day 719: Making A Count
Because I'm almost always counting down to my next Disney trip, I'm always looking for new ways to actually "count down." I have, of course, the apps on my phone, which generally works pretty well for me, and there's the little white board I keep at college with the latest month or week value until my next trip. In the past I've done paper chains and the paper countdown and beads and basically, you name it, I've done it.
So when I saw this Disney Sponsored countdown, I had to take a look at it. I saw it on Pinterest earlier this month and immediately made a mental note to do this myself. Of course, I haven't done it yet. It seems a little bit pointless at the current moment because I only have three days left until I leave for Florida, but you can be that in the future I'll be making this countdown:
You can find all the information on this new Countdown HERE, and I can't wait to share mine with you guys when I set it up in the new year!
Have a magical day!

Day 718: Editing Day and Night
Would you like a picture of my life right about now? Here you go:
The appropriate captain here would be "Edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit..." and just let that repeat forever.
You see, somewhere along the line of homework and school and music and homework and blogging, I didn't really have time to edit all of the band trip video that I should have been editing for the past six months. This, of course, is a problem. I don't want to make people wait forever, and considering the fact that I return to Disney in (now) just over three days, it means that I needed to get through some of this footage to make sure I don't need anything else when I go (which I do, so this is good).
The problem is this: I end up spending around 5 hours a day, at least, editing video. There's a lot of it, and at this point, I've spent around 50+ hours in the past few weeks just staring at my computer editing the band trip video, much less blogging or anything else.
Of course, this is also kind of fun for me, simply because I do enjoy editing video of Disney World. It's kind of a strange feeling. I mean, for instance, you could be editing video of it's a small world and just find it completely weird to be watching the video when you know it so well that you can just picture it all in your head without even seeing the picture. It feels so natural to be walking there, and much less natural to be watching footage that you personally took months previous.
On the bright side, I'm almost finished with the main parts of the video, after which I have to return and put them all together with interludes and more pictures. It'll take a while, but in the end I have a feeling everything will work out pretty well, especially since the vlogs are now finished and are just waiting to be uploaded to YouTube this week before I leave.
But, you know, let's just not talk about the 9 new vlogs I'll have to edit when we return in a couple of weeks.
Have a magical day!

Day 717: Frozen Swag
Who doesn't love Disney themed shirts? I mean, really. A while back I posted about the shirts I got from Hot Topic, and here's another one for you. But first, a backstory.
A few weeks ago, during my last week at SNC, I headed to Walmart with one of my friends and happened to see a Christmas Disney Shirt. It had Mickey Mouse and was basically patterned to be a Disney Christmas Sweater, and I loved it. Of course, in that moment I didn't buy it because did I really need it? No. So I left without that new shirt.
And I really wish I had bought it.
I went back three days later only to find that the shirt had sold out. So I went to another Walmart. Sold out there too. I looked online. SOLD OUT. Which left me with a serious dilemma. I had already planned a day in for this Christmas or sweater theme and I basically had no further options. That is, until I came up with a backup plan.
Hot Topic has had these Frozen things for a while, and besides my Frozen dress I got on my last trip to Hot Topic, I didn't have any other Frozen themed stuff. I fixed that:

Day 716: But Which One Am I?
Continuing on with the topic of #DisneySide, we've got another set of wonderful graphics and one big question: Which Disney Side is MY Disney Side?
I have a feeling we've had this conversation before, simply because I remember writing something like it, but with the way things go around here, it's entirely possible that I haven't. Plus, I tried a search through my posts for keywords and found nothing quite the same, so added onto the blog post list it was.
You see, Disney's put out a various number of different Disney Sides, and the list has expanded a bit throughout the year. You can take a look at some of the ones I've included here and see what Disney Side you might have (you can click on them to make them bigger too!):

The problem here? I'm pretty sure I am ALL of these Disney Sides!
Let's start with the first one: Super Fan. Yes I'm a super fan. Obviously. I've had Mickey Ears for longer than I can remember, I've got character shirts galore, I collect and (occasionally) trade pins, I know every word in every song in the park, I love Dole Whips and Hidden Mickey's aren't exactly so hidden for me anymore.
Then we have Disney Pro, which apparently is still me because I can't really remember a time I haven't had an Annual Pass, I DO know the fastest way to any attraction, even during the parade (like that time I completely blew right past the Electrical Parade), Firework seating is my specialty, and here's the one that really gets me: "People turn to you for tips so often you could write a blog about it. Oh wait, you already have." Sound like me much?
But wait! We can't forget the Ride Enthusiast Disney Side, because yes I'm the Fastpass master, even after it went to Fastpass+! I think this is one of the lesser sides of me, but then I think about the trip in June and just how much we did and I realize that yeah, maybe we do have enchanted places to be and magical things to see.
Hold up, however, as I'm also definitely a Documentarian. My Instagram is FILLED with Disney Pictures (and just wait until 2015 for it to expand in a whole new way), and I have multiple recordings of just about every parade and fireworks show, not to mention attractions. I do vlogs for each trip and have spent about 50+ hours in the past couple of weeks working on a giant Band Trip Video filled to the brim with Disney!
And finally, we can't forget my Big Kid Disney Side. I may not like riding the Teacups, but challenge me to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger spin and you're going down. We regularly have lightsaber churro fights, and there are no kids in sight, and let's be honest, aren't we all just Big Kids at Disney anyways?
So there's my problem. As I just explained, I obviously have all those Disney Sides, which can only mean one thing:
As if that wasn't already true before.
Have a magical day!
